Step 1: Evaluating & Preparation

• Each of our technicians is experienced in evaluating and preparing the concrete floor to meet our rigorous standards. The first step is the most critical. We prepare the floor surface using a diamond grinder and/or controlled chemical etching process. We take all necessary precautions to keep dust to a minimum. This preparation process is paramount to achieving a porous and contaminant free floor surface that will allow our systems to penetrate and bond at the molecular level.

Step 2: Repair & Primer

• Step 2 furthers our process by performing any cracking and divot/pitting repair, followed by the application of the specific primer that we deem most appropriate. A second layer, a color coat of 100% solid epoxy, is applied along with a full or partial broadcast of PVA (Poly Vinyl Acetate) Micro Chips.

Step 3: Sanding & Microchips

• The third stage of our process entails lightly sanding and/or scraping our first two layers and micro chips to achieve the desired amount of texture. In addition, we use an anti-skid aggregate. This stage is completed by the application of a clear top coat.

Step 4: Light Sanding & Clearcoat

• The surface is lightly sanded and an additional clear coat is applied as deemed necessary and/or requested.
